Beverston was formed in 2017 with a simple aim: to offer clear, reliable accounting and tax support delivered in a genuinely personal way.
We’ve grown by keeping things straightforward and using technology that makes accounting more accessible and efficient, but what matters most to us is being available, approachable, and useful when clients need guidance.
Our focus is simply to offer steady support as businesses navigate their finances, plan ahead, and adapt to a changing landscape.

-

Martin Caruana
DIRECTOR
Martin founded Beverston in 2017 after 20 years in several Plymouth accountancy firms.Starting the business from his garage, he built Beverston around a simple intention: to listen well, offer clear guidance, and make financial conversations comfortable rather than daunting. His experience as a business owner helps him relate to clients and support them through both challenges and successes.
-

Callum Elliott
DIRECTOR
Callum joined Beverston straight from school as an apprentice and progressed quickly through his training.
He has a natural feel for the work and takes a genuine interest in clients. Callum supports all areas of the business and is the first point of contact for many, providing friendly, efficient support.

Independent experts we partner with
-
Sue Williams
SAPPHIRE BOOKKEEPING
Sue is an important part of Beverston history. She joined as a director shortly after the launch and grew the business with Martin. Sue is a fast-working bookkeeper who relishes the challenge of turning a messy set of books and records into a tidy and clear set of data. Her way of working is consistent with the Beverston philosophy – to provide a friendly, approachable and efficient service.
Now a self-employed bookkeeper, Sue runs her own business, Sapphire Bookkeeping. This change afforded her the time and flexibility she needed to focus more on family life. Sue continues to collaborate with Beverston, working with the same loyal clients. Sue sorts the books while Beverston handles the accounts and tax affairs. It’s the best of both worlds for our clients.
-
Maxine Davis
1 LESS WORRY BOOKKEEPING SERVICES
Maxine is a self-employed bookkeeper and payroll expert who Martin has known and enjoyed working with for more than 25 years. She goes above and beyond for her clients and becomes a significant part of their organisations and day-to-day lives.
Maxine is always willing to chat and able to dispense sound advice. In the past, she has also operated a larger scale bookkeeping business – now, however, she prefers to keep things on a smaller scale for the clients who she really enjoys working with.
-
Claire Perry
VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
Claire supports business owners with administrative work – to allow them the space to maximise their income, set up systems that will save time, and focus on the tasks they enjoy and are best at!
Martin has enjoyed knowing and working with Claire for many years. Claire works very diligently and is not one to cut corners. This attention to detail and pride in her work gives great reassurance. If Claire takes on a job, you know it will be done properly.
